Founded in July 2014, Gansu Alkog Sea-buckthorn Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. lies in Zhang County Industrial Park covering an area of 13500 m2. Now it has more than 100 employees and more than 20 million yuan of fixed assets. It has advanced CO2 above-critical sea-buckthorn oil extraction plant and perfect quality control and inspection means, and is a high tech enterprise incorporating production and sales. - Product description
Seabuckthorn is a medicinal food containing vitamins, trace elements, amino acids and other biologically active substances. With a long history of more than two hundred million years on earth, this plant can survive in the harsh environment of the desert and alpine mountains. It is the only plant growing in the area of feldspathic sandstone called the cancer of the Earth, a plant growing in pollute-free environment and called the VC King in the world of plants. It is the most ecologically valuable in the large-scale development of the western region in China. It is recorded in Chinese Pharmacopoeia and pharmacopoeias in other parts of the world, and recognized as a medicinal and edible plant by the China’s Ministry of Health.
This product is a kind of natural nutritional drinks made from wild seabuckthorn fruit, which is characterized by a natural hue, uniquely fresh tastes, for example, sweet plus sour, fully reflecting seabuckthorn’s reputation of King of Vitamin C.
- Pharmacological Effect
The fruit contains 7 flavonoids, e.g. isorhamnetin and its glycoside, quercetin, kaempferol and so forth with relevant effects in treating cough, asthma. It is, expectorant, dilating coronary vessels, reducing cholesterol, and is commonly used in the treatment of ischemic heart disease with the effective rate of 94% for angina pectoris.
Extensive studies by research institutions and medical institutions in many countries show seabuckthorn have unique effects for nutrition and health by providing rich ingredients, that is, 80 to 150mm VC per 100g of fresh fruit (5-8 times kiwi, 70 times hawthorn, 80 times tomato, and 200 times grape), a very high content of carotenes, VE, and more than 80% unsaturated fatty acids.
