Propolis is produced by bees from plant resins to defend the hive from invasion by predators and to keep it aseptic. It kills germs, fungi, bacteria and viruses, keeping the interior of the hive in an optimally hygienic condition. The botanical origin of the propolis we use in the propORALcare Dental Line, Dental Gel, Mouthwash and Dental Floss, is exclusively Baccharis dracunculifolia (wild rosemary). We chose this type of propolis for its multiple, intense pharmacological activities. Scientifically proven benefits to the oral cavity include wound healing, bactericide, antiviral anesthetic, anti-inflammatory and immuno-stimulant.
