Bitter melon (Momordica charantia L.), also known as bitter gourd, karela, or balsam pear, is a perennial plant that grows in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, South America, East Africa, and the Caribbean. Research results in the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, have showed Insulin-like compounds in bitter melon such as Vicine, Polypeptide-P, and Charantine are responsible for antidiabetic properties.

INGREDIENTS: Bitter melon leaves and stems; Stevia; Peppermint
