Physical & chemical properties:
Colorless or slight yellow transparent liquid. If placed in the sun or aerated for long, the product will release bromine and be darkened in color. The
hydrobromic acid is the aqueous solution of the bromine hydride gas, whose relative density changes
with the percentage concentration.The product is a kind of strong acid with the reducing property and will be oxidized into dissociated bromines if reacting with chlorine,
oxygen, and an oxidizer.
The hydrobromic acid is used as the catalyst for the production of PTA and It is also used for the production
of bromine compounds, and may also be used in medicine, dyes, spices, and other industriesor in the places
where high-purity hydrobromic acid is needed
