Higher temperature levels are typically avoided to prevent boiling of liquids inside the tissue.

Generally speaking, one has to bear in mind that sound wave therapy is experienced differently from patient to patient. Some patients find it rather pleasant, whereas others may feel slight pain.
We recommend that the user and the patient should wear suitable hearing protection when using the shockwave applicator. Please always offer the patient hearing protection.

Always apply a sufficient amount of gel to ensure optimal shock transmission into the tissue. Make sure that the entire surface of the transmitter is in contact with the patient’s skin.

Hold the applicator in such a way that it is positioned at right 90° angles to the skin surface, and move the applicator regularly in both directions or in slow circular motion in lymphatic direction. When apply to abdomen area, make target tissue into skin fold. During the entire duration of the
therapy session, a constant adaption of the energy level in dialogue with the patient is required to ensure a good result.

In most cases, 8 to 12 treatment sessions are necessary. After each session rest at least 2 – 3 days to allow the organism to rest.

During the therapy period physical exercise (30 minutes) at least once or twice a week, balanced nutrition (dietary measures, if necessary), plenty of liquid: 2 – 3 litres of water/green tea per day, half a litre immediately after the therapy session is recommended, to ensure the elimination of waste products.
