iHIFU-S Brief Introduction
- iHIFU-S is the HIFU system for face lifting and tightening.This non-invasive treatment is operated easily by users and delivery well performance.
- iHIFU is a new type of non-invasive treatment for facial lifting and body’s lifting, and tightening of loose skin using ultrasound energy.
HIFU- High Intensity Focused Ultrasound
- HIFU is a highly precise medical procedure that applies high-intensity focused ultrasound energy to locally heat and destroy diseased or damaged tissue through ablation.
- Ultrasound beams are focused on diseased tissue, and due to the significant energy deposition at the focus, temperature within the tissue can rise to levels from 65° to 85°C, destroying the diseased tissue by coagulation necrosis. Higher temperature levels are typically avoided to prevent boiling of liquids inside the tissue.
- Thanks to the HIFU technology, the iHIFU can deliver strong heat energy to the deep skin without invasive surgery and induce collagen's active production.

- 1. Is the 2016 RSWT ShockWave Therapy Machine for Cellulite Reduction treatment painful?
Generally speaking, one has to bear in mind that sound wave therapy is experienced differently from patient to patient. Some patients find it rather pleasant, whereas others may feel slight pain.
We recommend that the user and the patient should wear suitable hearing protection when using the shockwave applicator. Please always offer the patient hearing protection.
- 2. What is the Treatment procedure?
Always apply a sufficient amount of gel to ensure optimal shock transmission into the tissue. Make sure that the entire surface of the transmitter is in contact with the patient’s skin.
- 3. How to move the applicators?
Hold the applicator in such a way that it is positioned at right 90° angles to the skin surface, and move the applicator regularly in both directions or in slow circular motion in lymphatic direction. When apply to abdomen area, make target tissue into skin fold. During the entire duration of the
therapy session, a constant adaption of the energy level in dialogue with the patient is required to ensure a good result.
- 4. How many sessions are needed?
In most cases, 8 to 12 treatment sessions are necessary. After each session rest at least 2 – 3 days to allow the organism to rest.
- 5. What are recommended accompanying measures?
During the therapy period physical exercise (30 minutes) at least once or twice a week, balanced nutrition (dietary measures, if necessary), plenty of liquid: 2 – 3 litres of water/green tea per day, half a litre immediately after the therapy session is recommended, to ensure the elimination of waste products.
