FRN, Fusible Metal Film Resistor, is a nonflammable resistor, which is applied to protect electronic circuit boards and design. In the normal situation, FRN works as a normal resistor, When high voltage come, this resistor will be open to protect PCB just like a fuse. The fusing time can be customized.
