For HP part number form:******-001 / ******-005, you could find it around ram slot after ram/monery removed
For other brand, Gernally, there is part number on board or on another small sticker
Motherboard Function Test:
1). Check the appearance, such as turns, dust, tin soldering or other dirty mark on board.
2). Check whether lack of electronic insulation gummed paper.
3). Check whether lacks of fittings, rust, rot, heat elimination chassis.
