Application & Characteristics


1. Hardener: For High-temperature Curing Catalysts, Premix, and Diamyl phthalate of unsaturated

   polyester Resin.

2. Polymerization Catalysts: For Styrene, high-pressure ethylene and other monomers.

Assay: 99.0 % Min.

Melting point: 38.0 -40.0

Active Oxygen: 5.85 ~ 5.92 %

Color:10 APHA Max.

 

Notice :

1. DCP must not come in contact with mineral acids, metallic soap, reducing agents, or oxidation

    catalysts since violent decomposition may occur.

2. DCP is rather stable at the normal temperature. At temperatures below 30. it can be stored for a

    long time without any deterioration.

3. It is advisable to store in a cool and dry place keeping away from the direct sunlight, as in the

    case of storing other common peroxides.

4. Any sort of fire or heat-sources should be strictly prohibited in the storehouse.

5. DCP is somewhat sensitive to shocks. Heavy shocks, therefore, should be carefully avoided.

6. DCP may cause skin irritation. It is therefore advisable to handle them with protecting gloves.
