Some information about the products .
1. Vertical Support #1: For each 6-Car Carport, there are three vertical support posts (standing between car #1/car #2, car #3/car #4, and car #5/car #6)
Main Vertical Beam is rectangular HSS steel tubing, 18 feet 4 inches long, 8 inches x 4 inches, .250 inch thick steel
2 Diagonal Support Beams are square HSS steel tubing, 4 inches by 4 inches, .125 inches thick, mounted to the vertical support
2. Roof Support #2: For each 6-Car Carport, we need 6 Roof Support Beams.
Rectangular HSS steel tubing 10 feet long, 6 inches by 4 inches, .125 inches thick
.25 inch thick Steel Foot plates (Cleats) welded to each end, with L-Shaped Cleat support welded to middle to bolt to C-Purlin
6 holes need to be drilled in each Cleat
3. C-Shaped Purlin #3: (Can be lipped or plain – see attached file Perlin.jpg) For each 6-car Carport, we need 12 pieces of Purlin
CEE Steel 27 feet long, 8 inches by 2.5 inches, 12 GA (.125 inches thick)
No Holes need to be drilled into these pieces.
4. Roof Panels: these panels come standard in 3 feet 2 inches wide by 10 feet long in corrugated steel 26 Gauge 1 and ¼ inch R-Panel.
These sections have a 2 inch overlap, so to cover 54 feet we need on both sides, we need 36 pieces.
If you can make these pieces 6 feet wide and do less pieces, that is fine. Whatever is best.
5. Ridge Cap: Steel 6 inches wide V-shaped 27 feet long, 2 pieces to span 54 feet.
