Metal oxide Varistor(MOV)
Metal Oxide Varistor is the core of the arrester.
Metal Oxide Varistor is the core of the arrester, which main component is Zinc Oxide and with a small quantity of bismuth Oxide, fluoride oxide, manganous carbonate, antimony oxide and other gleam of additive and made with high temperature.
As zinc oxide varistor has a good voltage-ampere (Non-linearity) characteristic, hence the zinc oxide varistor is a very important components applied to surge arrester
