Considering the fuel feature of bagasse, for small sized packaged bagasse boiler, forward running scale type chain grate will be adopted for the combustion system. biomass, bagasse boiler
Ash Block Prevention: Due to the fuel properties is different, ash phenomenon is also different. While burning bagasse, ash stick situation will be serious. Ash can be classed as high temperature and low temperature. Reason of high temperature ash is low melting point of biomass and tube bundles sticking. Low temperature ash is caused by flue gas condensation. For this boiler, HT ash mainly occurs at superheater and convection tube, LT ash occurs at air preheater tube box. Corrosion:
•HT Corrosion: As the biomass contains various mineral salts, including Chlorides, flue gas is highly corrosive. The HT Corrosion will happen at superheater area.
