Pigging ball is a kind of cleaning equipment made of neoprene(CR) , a kind of anti-corrosion materials, acco-

rding to the actual demands of oil and gas fields, natural gas pipeline, such as city gas pipeline.

The purpose of the pig ball is to clean the solid and liquid impurities within the pipeline.

It has two kinds: hollow ball and solid pig ball.DN50MM-133MM are solid ball,DN145MM-1016MM are hollow

ball. wall thickness between 20MM-150MM.

Usage Tips
Pig ball have specific requirements of sealing function during the operation, hence, the pig ball outer diameter must larger than pipeline inner diameter. we called the difference of pig ball outer diameter and pipeline inner diamter as amount of interference. the amount of interference in the ball is 2% of the pipeline diameter when without water inside; 3%-5% when fulled with water. It can make the ball against the wall from air leakage and leakage.
The wall thickness of Hollow ball for one over ten of the pipeline diameter, hollow ball have galls mouth and water /air filling is used inside the hollow ball. In winter, the ball should be filling antifreeze solution (ethylene glycol), to prevent freezing.

Especially, the FPM/PTFE pig can work in the high temperature reach to 275℃ pipeline and chemical

transferred pipeline with different acids, keeping form and anti-acid corrosion.
