Main applications:
Telecommunication material. Copolymer coated Al tape provide a moisture, chemical barrier, shielding layer and armor for Fiber Optic Cable, Communication Cable, Power Cable and Coaxial Cable.
SHWX Brand Features:
The copolymer forms good bond to not only the steel substrate, but also Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE), High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Halogen-Free Polyolefin (HFPO) jacketing resins, and consequently forms a "composite protection coat" to provide a reliable moisture, chemical barrier and shielding layer to cable core.
Copolymer coated steel tape serves as an armor to provide mechanical protection against outside force for cable core. It prevents rodent destruction so that the life span of Fiber Optical Cable is extended.
Electrolytic Chrome-Coated Steel (ECCS) is used for steel substrate, so the corrosion crush and twist resistance is very goods, and it is easy to process.

Low Coefficient of Kinetic Friction (CKF), 30%-50% lower than other product.

Two benefits for those characteristics above:
1. During cable manufacturing, the CKF between the plastic clad metal tape and cable manufacture moulds is so little that the tape breaking is minimized, cable production is speed up, and it causes high yield, and reduce cost.
2. Due to low CKF, the wastage of mechanical properties of coated metal tape is small, after being molded, the finished cable has superior aging resistance and the life span of cables is extended.
