The EM5040 artificial mains network is a product needing to be used in EMI testing. It can provide stable impedance between a to-be-tested equipment terminal and the reference ground in the radio-frequency region. Meanwhile, the artificial mains network is used for separating useless signals from the power grid from measuring circuits and only coupling interference voltage of the to-be-tested equipment into the input end of a testing receiver. The performance of the product conforms to requirements of the standard CISPR16-1-2:2006. With the standard BNC output interface and output impedance of 50ohm, the artificial mains network can be matched with measuring devices of receivers, spectrometers etc. from any manufacturer; the product is self-provided with the artificial hand, and it can be used for simulating a handheld device to carry out measurement; and EM5040 is suitable for measuring conduction of single-phase equipment (disturbance voltage). Since there may be greater leak current in design principle, it requires excellent grounding during practical application, and it requires adding an isolation transformer to use cooperatively if necessary.
