INTRODUCTION
DENYKEM BIG 400/400P are specially prepared cellulytic enzyme peoducts designed for use in the manufacture of stonewashing preparations or directly in the stonewashing process itself. The versatility of these products enables formulators to produce products to meet specific end user requirements by blending with detergents and pH regulators. Denim garment finishers who wish to use external detergent and pH control dosing can use them to give maximum abrasion with minimum damage to garments and processing machines.

Effective wash pH range: 4.0 - 6.5
Optimum wash pH range: 4.5 - 5.5
Dosage rate: Depends upon desired effect
Storage: Store in dry temperature conditions (5 - 25°C)
Shelf life: 6 - 12 months depending upon storage conditions.

USE OF DENYKEM BIG 400 /400P IN POWDER FORMULATIONS
1. Establish the desired concentration to meet application requirements.
2. Blend with detergents (e.g. Denynon JT) and /or pH regulators. Formulators have the flexibility to use a wide range of additives or utilise external detergents and/or pH regulators.
USE OF DENYKEM BIG 400/400P IN FINISHING PROCESS
For optimum performance:
1. Set the pH of the wash liquor to between 4.5 - 5.5.
2. Bring the liquor temperature up to between 40 - 50°C
3. Add DENYKEM BIG 400/400P and detergents at a dosage which gives the desired effect.

These conditions are only given as a guide. Tests should be carried out under local conditions to ascertain the optimum dosage for the machine type, fabric source and water conditions.
