DENYKEM XYLANASE SWINE is an enzyme preparation produced using a strain of Trichoderma reesei. Its main activity is endo-xylanase. It also contains other activities such as ß-glucanase, cellulose (endo-1, 4, ß-glucanase) and amyloglucosidase which make the preparation very efficient in the digestion of plant material.

 

The key enzyme activity endo-xylanase enables specific breakdown of cell wall structures such as insoluble and soluble arabinoxylans primarily found in wheat, rye and triticale as well as in by-products generated from processing these grains.

 

Benefits in pigs

 

Results below are from a piglet trial carried out at National Research Institute of Animal Production Poland, A total of 16 pnes of 9 pigs per diet where fed a control diet without or with 24,000U/kg xylanase activity form denykem xylanase swine, enzyme addition improved (p<0.05) the digestibility of all major nutrients, which lead to a better (P<0.05) daily gain and final live weight.

 

Results from a feeding trial carried out in Poland (2006) show the positive influence of Denykem xylanase swine in piglets when fed wheat, barley and triticale based diet from day 7 to 84 of life. Effective breakdown of cell wall structures was demonstrated by improved apparent fiber and protein digestibility (measured from day 65 to 70 of life). The more effective degradation of the feed for the piglets resulted in 5 % increased body weight and 4 % better feed conversion ratio when compared to the control without enzyme application.

Pelleting stability

 

A trail at the Kolding Biotechnology Institute in Denmark compared the pelleting stability of Denykem xylanase swine with three commercial feed enzyme products which claim high pelleting stability .In this trail Denykem xylanase swine was stable up to 900Ccomditioning, while recoveries of the competitor products were under 50%.

 

Packaging and Storage

 

Keep in dry warehouse, at an optimum temperature of 20 degrees is recommended. The annual loss of activity is no more than 10% in correct storage conditions.
