Ø Collect the UPS data via ArmModbus protocol converter serial port;
Ø Supervisory computer can communicate with Modbus protocol converter via RS422/RS485 port;
Ø Supervisory computer can use Modbus protocol to communicate with protocol converter via RS422/RS485 port in order to obtain the data and status of UPS;
Ø Supervisory computer can use Modbus protocol to communicate with protocol converter via RS422/RS485 port, and can control UPS (self-test, shutdown and restart);
Ø It can be divided into internal and external satisfying the different demands of various situati on;
Ø Support RTU and ASCII two kinds of formats (For user to select);
Ø Support simplex and duplex way (For user to select);
Ø With DB9 and RJ45 two kinds of interface ways (For user to select);
Ø Display the working status and communication status intuitively via protocol conversion card indicator;
Ø Support multi-brand and multi-type of UPS.

Introduction
Most large monitoring systems not only can monitor the main equipment but also can integrate power and environment monitoring. So it chooses popular Modbus communication protocol in order to be compatible with more devices. But most brands of UPS power communication have their own packaging formats, so providing RS232, RS422 or Network port cannot satisfy such monitoring system. We need protocol conversion actor- Modbus protocol converter. It is a kind of intelligent protocol converter, which is developed according to centralized monitoring in the current market.
Topology
Function
Ø Inquiry UPS running information: acquisition card type, input voltage, failure voltage, output voltage, current load, input frequency, battery voltage and battery temperature;
Ø Inquiry UPS warning information: horn status, shutdown activation, testing, UPS type, fault , bypass, battery voltage low, utility interruption, UPS disconnection, etc;
Ø Inquiry UPS rated information: rated voltage, load, rated battery voltage, rated power, man ufacturers, model, version, etc;
Ø UPS control: control UPS testing, UPS shutdown/restart, horn change, etc;
Ø Connect UPS to 422/485 bus via ArmModbus conversion card in order to realize centralize d management for all devices;
Ø 2 RS485/RS422 communication port: with RJ45 port and DB9 port for user to select, prov ides RS485 signal to communicate with supervisory computer to inquiry data. User can
check whether data is being received or sent by indicator lights.
Ø Can choose full-duplex or half-duplex status for Modbus card work;
Ø Working indicator lights display working status intuitively of Modbus conversion card.
