Flake ice evaporator drum from 1 to 30 tons 

-1. Flake ice 

Flake ice is made of the fresh water , in some cases can be directly made from brine water. Thickness between 1.8mm to 2.0 mm, irregular shape with diameters from 12 mm to 45 mm. 

Flake ice is thin and dry, without any edges and corners, which can not hurt chilled food.

-2. Evaporator

The evaporator of the flake ice machine is a vertically placed drumshape stainless steel container, equipped with the rotating blade which spins and scratches the ice of the inner wall of evaporative. When operating, the principal shaft and blade spins anticlockwise pushed by the reducer. Water is sprayed down from the sprinkler; ice is formed from the water brain on the inner wall.

-3. . Microcomputer intelligent control:

The machine is using PLC control system with world famous brand components, which control the whole ice making process, meanwhile it can protect the machine when there are water shortage, ice full, high /low pressure alarm, and motor reversal in order to guarantee the machine run stably with less faults.

-5. Application:

5.1 Brinewater flake ice machine can make ice directly from the sea water. This ice can be used in fast cooling of fish and other sea products. The fishing industry is the largest user of flake ice machines. Flake ice can lower the temperature of cleaning water and sea products, therefore it resists the growth of bacteria and keeps the seafood fresh.

5.2 . Because of its large contact and less damage with refrigerated materials, it is also applied in vegetable, fruit and meat storing and transporting.

5.3 In most cases of biosynthesis and chemosynthesis, flake ice is used to control the reaction rate and maintain the liveness. Flake ice is sanitary, clean with rapid temperature reduction effect.

5.4 Flake ice is used as the direct source of water in concrete cooling process, more than 80% in weight. Concrete will not crack if has been mixed and poured in constant and low temperature.

6. Layout of the machine 

 Installation:

 1). Installing by the user: we will tested and install well the machine before shipment, all necessary spare parts operation manual and CD are provided to guide the installation.

 2). Installing by Koller engineers:

(1) We can send our engineer to assist the installation and provide technical support and train your workers. The end-user provide accommodation and round-trip ticket for our engineer.

(2) Before our engineer arrived in your site, the installation place, electricity, water and installation tools should be ready. Meanwhile, we will provide you a Tool List with the machine when delivery.

(3) All spare parts are provided according to our standard. During installation period, any shortage of parts due to the actual installation site, the buyer is required to afford the cost, such as water pipes.

 (4) 2~ 3 workers are required to assist the installation for big project.

(5) Any delay due to customer’s reason, it will be charged from the 8th day, USD100/day for one person as installation fee. Free of charge for one week.

If I buy your machine, how could I install? Do you have someone to help the installation?  

•A: Before shipping, we will install and test the machine well.

•B: All needed CD and operation manual will be provided to guide the installation step by step.

•C: If requested, we will send one engineer to guide the installation and train your staff how to operate. You just need to afford the round-trip tickets, visa fee and the accommodation and food at the installation for our engineer.

•D: Sometimes a Chinese translator will be needed in your local site.

 If there are some problems with the machine, how can you help to solve the problems?

We guarantee the warranty for 12 months. Regarding after-sales service, once machine is out of work, you only need to send us pictures or videos about the fault, we will get back to you with the solution within 24 hours. If the parts is broken and proved by our engineer for non-personal reason, we will offer free parts to replace within guarantee period by DHL, usually 3~4 days to arrive your factory; if it is beyond guarantee period, we will charge market price for the new parts.
