DAYA permeable steel is a high-quality metal material specially for ventilation. Its tissue status is similar to many mini-type ball to fuse with each other. The entire part is uniformly connected to net micro-pore. The micro-pore area is about 30% to make the air smoothly pass any parts. The gas is directly discharged from the material. And it has well mechanical cutting performance and rust proof as well as acid proofing. It’s widely applied in discharge of plastics mould and other occasions, such as gas dispersing, pressure reduction, filtration etc. (figure 1). It’s very necessary to reasonably use permeable steel and wholly understand material performance. The following is introduction about method and precaution with regard to plastics mould.
Application feature
Reduce injection pressure and decrease time of molding and pressure holding.
As die joints of the mould have close cooperation, it could solve difficulties of mould opening and other situations. It could solve many problems caused from plunger, mold insert and ventilated jet could not provide sufficient surface area to contain large amount of gas generated, therefore to avoid trimming and other defects generated by utilizing die joints or other exhaust system. One fourth tissue in the permeable steel is through-hole.
It could solve and relieve problems caused from position error of pouring gate, nonuniform wall thickness, thin-wall product and other problem to mold with difficulties.
It could fully solve gas generated through high temperature of molding material, and component deformation caused from burning, flow mark, incomplete feeding and suction rapidly gathered and generated in mould cavity and other defects.
For plastics component with dermatoglyph on surface, it could solve yogon surface as required to light dermatoglyph generated under high temperature and high pressure.
Reduce and eliminate internal stress of molding part to prevent products from deforming and bending.
Improve molding production efficiency to save production cost.
It could inset at top or side of the mold core (figure 2)
