CBH -- Lithium Alginate is a natural polysaccharide extracted from kelp-like Phaeophyceae; It is a white to yellow, fibrous or granular powder, almost odorless and tasteless.
Lithium Alginate is mainly used as wet state adhesive and elasticizer in the electrode coating. Our product is featured with fine particle size and low salt, that makes it one of the indispensable ingredients for high-end electrodes.
Properties:
1. insoluble in alcohol and alcohol solution;
2. insoluble in chloroform, ehter and the acid solution with pH lower than 3;
3. Our product has reasonable particle size rang distribution, which makes the electrode coating surface smooth and imporosity;
4. Low contents of Sulpahte(as S), Phosphorus(as P) and Chlorine (as Cl), and these features can prevent the solder joints from corrosion;
5. Lithium Alginate is wth high purity, the addition of our product can keep the coating non-deforming and prolong the shelflife;
6. Low level of ash, that can stabilize arcs by decreasing the spatter.
Applications:
Our welding grade alginate can be applied to high-end electrodes, especially used for manufacturing aeroplanes, motor vehicles and ships.
