APPLICATIONS
- Aerial Bundle Conductor (ABC cable) is a very innovative concept for overhead power distribution as compared to the conventional bare conductor overhead distribution system. It provides higher level of safety and reliability, lower power losses and ultimate system economy by reducing installation, maintenance and operative cost. This system is ideal for rural distribution and it is especially perfect for installation in difficult terrains such as hilly areas, forest areas, coastal areas etc. ABC is also considered to be ideal for power distribution in congested urban areas with narrow lanes and by-lanes. In developing urban complex, ABC cable is the first choice because of its flexibility for re-routing as demanded by changes in urban development plan.

1. Standard: According to IEC,also can do by standard of ASTM,BS,GB,DIN and AS/NZS or other standards.
2. Rated Voltage:0.6/1KV ;10KV
3. Construction:
Conductor:Aluminium or Aluminium alloy or Copper;
Bare Conductor may be made of AAC,ACSR,AAAC etc.
Insulation:PVC or XLPE or PE
Inner sheath:PVC or PE
Cores:Single,Duplex.Triplex,Quadruple
4. Characters:
Rated Voltage is 0.6/1KV.
a.Max operating temperature :XLPE insulation 90°C,PVC or PE insulation 70°C.
b.Installing temperature of cable should not be below -20°C.
c.Max short-circuit temperature,Not more than5 Sec:XLPE insulation 250°C,High-density PE insulation 150°C,PVC insulation 130°C.
d.Permissible Bending radius of cable: when overall-diameter(D) is less than 25mm,It should be not less than 4D.when D is 25mm or more,It should be not less than 6D.
Rated Voltage is 10KV.
a.Max operating temperature :XLPE insulation 90°C,High-density PE insulation 75°C,PVC insulation 70°C.
b.Installing temperature of cable should not be below -20°C.
c.Max short-circuit temperature,Not more than5 Sec:XLPE insulation 250°C,High-density PE insulation 150°C,PVC insulation 130°C.
d.Permissible Bending radius of cable:Should be not less than 20(d+D)±5%mm. Where:D is overall diameter of cable; d is diameter of conductor.
