                              LTS-3000A Liquid Based Thin Layer Cytology Smear Processor

           LTS-3000A Liquid Based Thin Layer Cytology Smear Processr employ centrifugation and precipitation testing principles which improve cytological diagnosis accuracy and helps patient to prevent potential cervial cancer. 

           With its unique exterior design and multi-point sensor control, the LTS-3000A provides excellent one-step cytological smear processing from cell collection, cell transfer, smear preparation to smear staining.  It enables cytological smear preparation of gynecological & non-gynecological specimen with sufficient diagnostic materials and clearly-stained cell configuration, preventing overlapping, blur or blank smear.Disposable ancillary reagents including cell preservative solution, buffer solution, membrane tube and cytobrush are also available. 

(Pap Smear Method) Widely known but poor in accuracy. 

 

(Liquid-Based Cytology) Convenient for microscopic examination and high in accuracy.

Principles:

1. Density Centrifugation.

Two times density centrifugation of specimen optimizes diagnostic materials. The first one separates separates diagnostic material from non-diagnosis debris like cell fragments, impurity, mucus and blood; the second one furture enriches diagnostic lesion cells. 

2.  Sedimentation.

Since the gravity of lesion cells is higher than that of normal cell, the settling rate of the former is faster, it will settle on slide in priory and combines with charges on slide. This feature is useful to collect the lesion cells at most extent. 

3.  Staining.

Driping staining employed optimizes testing effciency and enables more rapid testing results.

Mechanical arm flushes immediately after staining in case of the cross contamination.

Both Pap and HE staining are available

4. Charge Capture.

Positive charge charried on glass slide capture negative lesion cells perfection, forming a mono-layer evenly-distributed cytological smear.
