1.2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE
The technique used in building PTC 027 provides its structure with an absolute stability in dimensions and allows an excellent damping of the vibrations without having to fix the machine to heavy foundations.
The structure consists of two steel parts welded together bye means of screw; the lower part, prism -shaped and very heavy, assures a crushproof support to the upper part bearing the sliding guides of carriages; this two-part structure highly facilitates the operation of assembly, and of disassembly as well, if necessary ,of the internal parts.
This structure includes: the automatic sheet feeding device; the continuous sheet feeder which, though being a separate unit, is anyway linked to the machine body, thus being an integral part of it and taking use of its pneumatic installation and electric cabin, The same cabin is also used for the screen electric connections.
The machine is furthermore composed of an automatic lubrication system, providing for the constant lubrication of the main parts of the machine, and of a pneumatic installation controlling the servo system required for the feeding, the press positioning and the blanked sheet output.
The machine also is provided with an electronic automatism programming the whole working cycle that the press has to carry out automatically.
The same cabin contains all the electric starting and stopping devices for the press electric motors.
