Production Description:
Drug microspheres is a kind of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology,Poly (DL-lactide-co-glycolide )drug delivery microspheres use the high-molecular polymer as the carrier, wrapping the solid or liquid drug, solidifying and forming the tiny spherical entitative solid skeleton, the diameter is 1-300 μm. At present, our produced micropheres diameter covers a wide range, from 20um to 100um, and we can make the product according to customers’ requirements.
Function:
1. To realize sustained release through adjusting and controlling the release rate of drug.
2. Reducing the toxicity and adverse reaction.
3. Decreasing the times of adminstration and drug stimulation.
4. Function of targeted therapy
Feature:
The release of the drug of the microspheres can slow the release rate of the drug wrapped in the microspheres down and become prolonged action preparation through matrix erosion(like the degradation of polylactic acid and poly lactic-co-glycolic acid). The prolonged action preparation can reduce the times of adminstration and reduce the drug peak valley phenomenon.
Targeting Property
Microspheres targeting drug delivery system is built based on the different detention of different size particles from the body physiological characteristics of different tissues, it can make the suspension particles selectively gathered in liver, spleen, lung, lymph and other parts through the function of the physical and physiological in the organism, releasing drug and working.
Embolization
Drug microspheres will achieve more completely embolism of the tumor capillary network after injected into tumor-feeding artery by arterial cannula, the diameter greater than 12um of the microspheres is intercepted by the first level capillary network, smaller diameter microspheres can reach the end of capillary and interdict anterior cerebral artery of capillary. So it is more difficult to form collateral circulation than normal emboliaztion agents, Cancerous tissue necrosis more thoroughly. Meanwhile the embolism works, the drug release in the microspheres can be concentrated in the tumor area, so it can both make embolic effect and use as the carrier of anti-cancer drug, making the drug in the tumour maintain in the high concentration level for a long time.
