HighTek HK-7019B RS485Signal surge protector based on IEC61000-4-5 and ITU-TK20 & K21 standard design, using multi-level protection circuit, use the latest high-speed surge protection devices, reaction speed, the output residual down, transmission superior performance. Interface uses a standard industrial terminal block, easy to use, applicable to all RS-485 communications for lightning protection.
HK-7019B use metal casing, sealing is good, with dust-proof, anti-corrosion features, series connected with the installation, suppressing high-voltage pulse on the line to protect the back-end equipment from lightning strikes, industrial surge damage.

Installation and Maintenance
1. Installation will be HK-7019B and protected access to the signal path between devices, HK-7019B The output must be close to the protected equipment, HK-7019B The FG input pin must be grounded, lightning protection grounding resistance shall not be greater than 4 ohms.
2. HK-7019B in the elements are subject to stringent testing, usually do not have maintenance, fault detection, it will be removed from the lines, using multimeter measurement of input, output pin A pin or between B and A and B foot between the legs The resistance value, the value should be less than or equal 12 ohms. In addition, A, B between the pin and the FG pin 8M ohm resistance should be greater than or equal. If the measured data does not meet the above requirements, indicating HK-7019B has become obsolete or damaged, it is timely replacement of the HK-7019B.
