1. WHAT IS UHMWPE STRIPS? WHAT KIND OF CHARACTERS THE UHMWPE STRIPS OBTAIN?
Ultra-high Molecular Weight Polyethene (UHMWPE Strip) is a kind of thermo-plastic engineering plastic, and it’s a kind of new material. The UHMWPE strips combines almost all the advantages of all types of plastic, such as the excellent wear resistance, resistance of impact and chemical corrosion, self-lubricating, etc. Also, low abrasion, light in weight, non water absorbtion, anti-ageing, etc are also its advantages. The UHMWPE strips can work in a quite low temperature and have already widely used in many field.
2. WHAT CAN WE DO WITH UHMWPE STRIPS?
A. On Port and vessel: UHMWPE Strips can be interior lining panel of cabin, funnel liner, liners on bucket of dredger , dock fenders, blocks, baseboard of steamed boat, stern tube, etc. By using it, the self-discharging system of the vessel can function well, and blocking can be prevented so that the discharging speed can be improved at least by 30%.
B. On mining: UHMWPE Strips can be skirt surroundings of belt transmission machine, bin liner, edge protection and liner of spiral transmission equipment, linings of coal drop, sleeves of turning roller, etc.
