How the Wireless Vehicle Detection System Works:       

  • The ROSIM wireless vehicle detection system contains  wireless vehicle detectors and wireless access point. this setup is sometimes complemented by a repeater, or several.
  • First,the wireless vehicle detectors detect vehicles exsitence/driving dirrection/speed,etc.and then send all the data information wirelessly to wireless access point.at last, wireless access point  aggregates these data and report key traffic parameters such as presence ,lane occupancy,  queue length and so on.

Replace loops seamlessly

 

In the past over 5 years, Rosim wireless vehicle detecting products had successfully replaced loops to monitor vehicles and the relative velocity, occupy rate and traffic flow in many projects of artery, freeway and intersection applications, for example in traffic flow monitoring system, red signal and speed enforcement, traffic lights optimization, traffic guide and traveler information systems, adaptive traffic signal control, arterial performance measurement, etc..

 

 

 

 

Installing the Detectors:                                           

  •  Detectors  are ideally placed in the middle of traffic lanes.
  •  Lanes are bored a circular hole approximately 10cm in diameter and 10cm deep,then detector is dropped in the hole.
  •  The hole is sealed using fast-hardening rement.
  • The entire operation takes around 10 minutes per detector.
