Principle & Technology
By capture the tiny change of magnetism caused by the passing vehicle, WVDs (Wireless Vehicle Detector) calculate the vehicle velocity, length, type and occupy rate rapidly, and then send these information to the WAPs (Wireless Access Points), which will receive all the on line WVDs’ information and transmit these data to the user systems through RS-232/485, Internet, GPRS, etc.

Owning to its strong functions, it can be widely used in the Traffic signal light optimization, Urban traffic flow guidance system, E-police, corridor management and many other field to replace loop detector.

Installation
In the application of traffic signal controlling, traffic flow monitoring, traffic guiding, speed enforcement and red light enforcement, the installing place of the wireless vehicle detector (WVD) is the same as loops. The installation and signal connection of wireless access point (WAP) is compatible to loop controller, see following figure of wireless vehicle detection system.
