1.How the Wireless Vehicle Detector Works?
ROSIM wireless magnetometer detector works with wireless access point.
1. the wireless magnetometer installed on the road and detect vehicles exsitence/driving direction /speed,etc.
2. Wireless magnetometer forward all the real-time data information wirelessly to wireless access point.
3. wireless access point aggregates these data and transmit it to clients server or plateform software. After analyze and caculate the data, you can know the key traffic parameters such as presence,traffic flow, classification, road occupancy rate, queue length, travelling information data and so on.

3. Compare with inductive loops
In the past over 5 years, Rosim wireless vehicle detecting products had successfully replaced loops to monitor vehicles and the relative velocity, occupy rate and traffic flow in many projects of artery, freeway and intersection applications, for example in traffic flow monitoring system, red signal and speed enforcement, traffic lights optimization, traffic guide and traveler information systems, adaptive traffic signal control, arterial performance measurement, etc..
Installing:
- Detectors are ideally placed in the middle of traffic lanes.
- Lanes are bored a circular hole approximately 10cm in diameter and 10cm deep,then detector is embeded in the hole.
- The hole is sealed using fast-hardening rement.
- The entire operation takes around 6 minutes per detector.

The same installation position and compatible output signals makes it easily and simply to replace loops in your system directly;

It is only almost 6 minutes that is needed to install one wireless vehicle detector in the road, after installation, the traffic control could be released immediately;

There’s no need to cut slots on the road surface and place cables or wires as the installation of loops, but only a tiny hole with the size Φ 120/H 100 mm, which makes WVDs become the most suitable vehicle detecting solution on the city high-way and bridges;

With high standard water proof and antipress characteristics, WVD wireless vehicle detector can even be used in the damaged or distorted roads where loops cannot be installed;
5. Higher efficiency and reliability to other detection methods;
Above 98% detection accuracy,and long range communication up to 150m.
6.Work all-weather:
Bad weather for example heavy fog, snow and rain makes no difference;
7. Easy to maintain.:
Unlike the loops that are easily to be damaged but difficultly to be repaired, WVD wireless vehicle detector supports firmware updating over the air. No need to re-cut the slots, no more materials needed, and all of what you need is to take almost 10 minutes for the devices wireless updating;
8. Low operation consuming.:
Due to the ultra low power design and battery supply solution, WVD wireless vehicle detector’s consumed power is very lower than any other detectors like loops, video, micro-wave etc.
