We MAXWAY is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of amphibious excavator and pontoon undercarriage in China. Our MAX series pontoon undercarriages are designed for 6 Ton to 50 Ton class excavators. Customers only need to tell us the excavator brands and models (Eg: HITACHI 200, PC200...), we could produce pontoon undercarriage for them.
Construction: --- MAXWAY Amphibious excavator undercarriage ( Pontoons) is manufactured from Q345B ( Cr50 ) or A36 steel plate. So, they are allowed to be used in brackish water without affecting the pontoon's structural integrity. The pontoon bottoms are also reinforced for rough terrain operation. Each pontoon has 3 independent watertight compartments ensuring pontoon buoyancy ,if one of them is broken.
Track shoes : --- Track shoes of MAXWAY pontoon undercarriage are made of specially produced Q345B Steel. They are strong enough to support the whole amphibious excavator.Also, the wide and thick track shoes could help the MAXWAY Amphibious excavator walking ( Floating and swimming on water) faster.
Track chains : --- We assemble 3 rows of chains on each pontoon. It is more reliable and durable than 2-chain pontoon. Also, the 3-chain could raise the track shoes strength when walking on rough terrains. MAXWAY Amphibious excavator track chains are made of super durable 40Cr special steel. This high quality steel can guarantee long-life of chains. So, it is safer to work on deep water.
Hydraulic drive: --- According to users' requests, we could install 2 or 4 travel motor assembles on each pontoon undercarriage (amphibious excavator undercarriage). Usually, we choose DOOSAN brands travel motors.They are reliable quality and very reasonable prices. Besides, DOOSAN travel motor could supply very enough power to drive the amphibious excavators.
MAXWAY AMPHIBIOUS EXCAVATOR COULD BE USED TO DO :
1.Deepening of canal, river channel and river mouth
2.Swamp land clearing at mining area, plantation and forest
3.Building bund for flood prevention and land reclamation
4.Building bund wall for fish and shimp ponds and salt making industry
5.Sludge clearing of lakes, ponds and water reservoir
6.Digging trenches for oil and gas piping installation
7.Transporting and clearing landslide and flood hit area
8.Swamps and wetlands construction
9.Road construction through wetlands.

(2 or 3 rows chains on each pontoon. Assembled 2 or 4 DOOSAN travel motor assemblies)
ASSEMBLY OF MAXWAY AMPHIBIOUS EXCAVATOR:
(Very easy to do, usually it takes 3--5 hours to finish)
WORKING PERFORMANCE OF MAXWAY AMPHIBIOUS EXCAVATORS:
(CAT, DOOSAN, KOBELCO, HITACHI, VOLVO,KOMATSU........ top parts could be assembled)
MAXWAY AMPHIBIOUS TRANSPORTER :
(By assembled big float pontoon undercarriage and travel motors, it could travel and transport goods
on water / swamp / mud. Also, if needed, hydraulic crane could be assembled on this machine.
Payload, dimension and engine brands could be customized.)
3 to 10Ton CRAWLER HYDRAULIC DUMPER :
