3. Application of tungsten wire:
Mainly used as electrical parts in light sources, cutting wires and heating elements.
1) for making filaments for auto lamps, fluorescent lamps, high pressure halogen lamps.
2) for making other lamp components.
3) For production of filaments for lamps of coiled-coil or three-coiled incandescent lamp, fluorescent lamp, halogen lamp, auto lamp and hi-color temperature lamps,etc.
4) For making supports and electron tubes.
5) Stranded tungsten wire is applied for making heater elements and other heater components in semiconductor and vacuum devices
Other tungsten or molybdenum production
Application
The heat shielding is make up of multiple layers of molybdenum sheet with spaces between each layer. Generally, a heat shielding often consists of 3 - 7 layers of molybdenum sheet backed by stainless steel sheet. For higher operation temperatures, the number of molybdenum layers is increased as well as the thickness of each layer .
As the heat-shield parts in the sapphire growth furnace, the most decisive function of upper and bottom cover plate is to prevent and reflect the heat in the furnace. Heat-shield parts with high-density, exact-measurement, smooth-surface, convenient-assembly and reasonable-design has great significance in improving the crystal-pulling.
Merit: high temperature molybdenum sheets and plates are hot/cold rolled by unique technology ,the products gain more high temperature property by increasing the recrystal temperature of molybdenum by 500°C~700 °C .
