Highly Difficult Bending of PMMA(acrylic) Plate for the Showing Shelf of Wallet
PMMA plate ( organic glass PMMA also called acryl ) is the high optical-clear plates manufactured of PAMMA high molecular material by the extrusion processing. PMMA plate has feature of high transparency and its transmittance is as high as 92%, so it enjoys the good reputation of plastic crystal.
Furthermore, the PMMA plate has the features of good surface, hardness, gloss and a big plasticity, so it can be made into different shapes and products that needed. The plate has many different kinds and rich colors (include the translucent plate), and the thick plate can also be highly translucent. Besides, our company owns large Press Brakes and Heat chambers and the products can be cold and hot formed. The minimal bending radius is 100 times as the thickness of the used plate.
Charateristics of PMMA(Acrylic) plate:
1) It has good weatherability, and can be used in manufacturing outdoor products. Even exposures to the sunlight, it can also be normally used for a rather long time without becoming yellowing and hydrolyzing because of long-term exposing to the sun and rain.
2) Good chemical resistance(exclude organic solvents such as chloroform, acetone etc).
3) Long life span, compared to that of other materials, its life span is above 3 years.
4) Good transmittance which can be as high as 92%, the light strength it needs is small, so electrical power and energy can be saved.
5) Strong impact resistance as strong as 16 times that of common glasses, so it is suitable to be installed at places where safety is specially needed.
6) Good insulating performance with which it is applicable to various equipments.
7) Light self-weight, which is only the half of that of the common glasses, so the buildings or supports may bear lighter loads.
8) Gorgeous colors and high light which other material can not rival.
9) Strong plasticity, the shape can be heavily changeable and it is easy to process the plate into shape.
10) High recovery which is recognized stronger and stronger day by day by the environment-protection
11) It is convenient to maintain and clear with rainwater naturally or by scrubbing an cleaning with soap and soft cloth.
