PMMA plate ( organic glass PMMA also called acryl ) is the high optical-clear plates manufactured of PAMMA high molecular material by the extrusion processing. PMMA plate has feature of high transparency and its transmittance is as high as 92%, so it enjoys the good reputation of plastic crystal.
What’s more, it is of very good weatherability and is especially applicable to the outdoor. The weatherability of the PMMA plate is the no.1 compared with that of other plastics. Furthermore, the PMMA plate has the features of good surface, hardness, gloss and a big plasticity, so it can be made into different shapes and products that needed. The plate has many different kinds and rich colors (include the translucent plate), and the thick plate can also be highly translucent.
Charateristics of PMMA(Acrylic) plate:
