Quality assurance is an absolute imperative in the PV manufacturing. The solar specialist J.v.G. Thoma, based in Bavaria, is about to present on the dot at the industrial trade fair PV-SEC its new flasher model: the worldwide first LED based inspection device in the market. Its advantage? With it the test results will be more accurate than with conventional devices.

With the new flasher each module is put to the acid test not just once, but five times in one go. From this an average is derived which in turn will ensure that the results are more accurate. And that means, later for the dimensioning all wiring connections can be done much more precisely.

Faster than lightning: from zero to five in 0.1 seconds

The amazing thing about the LED variant is that it requires less time to determine these five readings than a common flasher for only one reading. There is an obvious reason behind this: the LED light burns continuously, whereas a conventional flasher takes nearly 20 seconds until the condenser is recharged for the next "flash light".

J.v.G. Offgrid solution - a maximum output of 400 to 2.000 W

Simply "plug & play"

The "JvG Offgrid Solution-Box" is connected quickly and easily:

Simply connect the box elements with the cable, flip the switch and the light turns on! All four variants offer - depending on the Energy-Box features - a maximum output of 400 to 2.000 W. With the "Solution-Box" type I, for example, a row with up to three installed modules and up to eight batteries is possible, type IV offers the possibility of up to 4 rows with 3 modules each and up to sixteen batteries generating and storing solar electricity. The latter type with the highest output of 2.000 W can even power a washing machine.

Proven and tested photovoltaic technology

Of course, an important part of the "JvG Offgrid Solution-Box" are the employed modules that convert sunlight
into electricity. In our case, these modules are polycrystalline JvG OFFGRID modules. Up to nine of these modules can be connected to the "JvG Offgrid Solution-Box".

Highly capable and compliant – "TEC-approved – JvG SOLAR-developed"

The main actors of the "JvG Offgrid Solution-Box" are the JvG OFFGRID modules. This is why they were also tested for reliability and performance in exemplary extreme situations by the TEC Institute for Technical Innovation, headquartered in Bavaria, Waldaschaff. These tests are performed under realistic conditions for longer periods of at least six months to one year. Whether exposed to heat and cold or destructive environ- mental influences such as an ammonia atmosphere – the JvG OFFGRID modules passed all resilience tests with flying colours. TEC work to optimise products and provide quality assurance, among others on behalf of the J.v.G. Thoma GmbH, one of the leading suppliers of state-of-the-art solar technology in Germany and Europe.

The perfect photovoltaic solution for your own energy production!

From light bulbs to stereo systems - complete systems tailored to meet individual power requirements

What to do if there is no power supply connection? Quite simple - the solution is to generate and store it yourself and use it when needed. Whether you need power for lighting, a television, fan, refrigerator or washing machine, with the different „JvG Offgrid Solution-Box“ („energy keep it simple & safe“) models, this won‘t be a problem!

As the name already implies, the energy box consists of three components: PV modules that generate electricity using the sun, inverters that convert this electricity to alternating current and batteries that store the generated electricity - safe and simple.

Ideal for places without a public grid where one is inevitably dependent on self-sufficiency and selfgeneration.
SOLAR MODULES JvG Offgrid Solution-Box guarantees this selfsufficiency!

All components are assembled into a complete user-friendly system. Type 1 (direct current) offers the output required, for example, for 12 V energy-saving lamps and other 12 V devices. With types 2 to 4 (alternating current), the usable output amounts to a maximum of 2.000 W. This makes it possible to operate 230 V electrical devices like a normal power socket!

With one difference, however:

This electricity is definitely green because of its environmentally friendly generation!
