Description:
Slag stopper is used for BOF steel making process for instant slag blocking.From the head to the core and the
outer layer,each part contains different components of refractory materials.The product is simple in structure;
lighter weight,easy to use,cheap and block the slag instantly,therefore improves the steel quality and saves the
alloy consumption.
The slag stopper is placed into the taphole before tapping begins.After the operation starts,when the converter
begins to tilt,it blocks the slag floating on the molten steel surface to enter the taphole.When the slag stopper
interacts with the high temperature molten steel,it melts and drops into the ladle,therefore the tapping begins.
The volume and density of slag stopping plug according to the user requirements to operate .
1.Our slag-stopping plug reduced the energy consumption, reduced temperature loss of the molten steel,increased tne steel-making operation security.
2.We have the type of M-1 is magnesian slag-stopping plug, the type of A-1 is aluminum slag-stopping plug and type of M-A.
3.The anti-heating strength of our products is up to 1790°C.
4.The size of slag-stopping plug is from 240mm to 300mm. but the volume and density of slag-stopping plug according to the user requirements to operate.
5.The length and size of the defor med steel bars of Guide pole,according to the user drawing to operate.
