General Description
PD001 fingerprint biometric identification module is integrated semiconductor fingerprint sensor and the fingerprint identification algorithm of synthetic integration fingerprint processing module. Have self-learning function, fingerprint identification process, the extraction of new fingerprint characteristic values of the characteristic to the previous template fingerprint characteristic, with more and more useful in the process of actual use. According to the user's habits, climate changes can automatically adjust parameters, reaches to better identification effect. With the characteristics of small volume, low power consumption, simple interface, high reliability, fast recognition and good adaptability is to dry wet finger, wide applicable people.
As a standalone biometric solution, PD001 offers onboard template storage and one-to-few verification. Integrating the PD001 can drastically reduce time-to-market, with an easy-to-integrate serial command interface and proven robust fingerprint sensor solution. PD001 fingerprint sensors come with a protective coating which can withstand ESD well above 15 kV, as well as scratches, impact, and everyday wear and-tear.
PD001 can easily be integrated into virtually any application as an embedded solution. The biometric module can optionally be controlled by a host CPU (Core: 32-bit ARM Cotex-M3), which sends basic commands for enrolment and verification via the serial interface. Fingerprint templates are automatically created and stored in the internal flash memory. PD001 comes pre-loaded with software windows or android and is ready to use at delivery.
