Twice a year, in spring and autumn, fertilizers such as rapeseed oil cake and seed oil cake are applied on the soil of the whole 6 hectares of our tea farm.It’s actually quite a hard work because most part of the farm is on the steep mountainside,and any trucks can’t go in there.But it’s a necessary work to be done in order to make good soil to make good tea.
Since it’s an organic farm, lots of worms,and beneficial insects like mantises, ladybugs, and spiders live there,and we are glad they help us get rid of pest insects.The farm is good for living things like them,but unfortunately it is also good for wild animals like deer and hogs.They frequently come ruin the farm, and that’s our headache for now.
