AutoXpp02C2
Premium automobile two-component [2K, coded Xpp02C2] acrylic-urethane clear coatings for use over solid color coats; providing color fastening and reinforcement of abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and dust resistance; It has excellent durability, flexibility, and high glossiness
Features of fast dry, ambient curable, high solid, hydrophobic, high gloss designed for overall refinishing
l Ambient curable [ 15-20 min touch dry, and 1-2 hrs hard dry, over night cure required for follow up polishing or bake cure at 45-50 C for 1 hrs
l Excellent gloss, leveling, and buffing characteristics
l Strong resistance to washing scratching
l Tensile strength (2k, 280kg/cm2)
l Elasticity (2k, elongation 80-100%)
l Service temperature (films maintain elasticity within -5C to 80 C).
l Alkaline resistance [24hrs soak in PH11 media, causes no deterioration of the coating films
l Petrol oil resistance
Application Data
Ensuring smoothness of the basecoat [sand off any possible particles or granules by using finest sand papers], clean any contamination with white spirits before spraying the clear top coats
Mixing completely with ratio of 5 to 1 by weight with its hardener [AutoXpp02H] before applying coatings using spray
- Apply 2 coats, allowing 2-3 min flash between coats
- Touch dry is 10 -15 min, dry through is 1-2 hrs, overnight cure required for buffing. The clear coats property assessments should be conducted after 2 to 3 days
- Force dry or bake cure, 40-60 min at 45 ~50 C
- Buffing, after 24 hours air dry, or cool down from force dry.
