Product Introduction

Tempered glass is a kind of safety glass, which made from ordinary annealed glass in required dimensions is treated by heat around 700℃ (softening point) right before rapid uniform cooling process. For glass after toughening treatment, uniform compressive stress forms on its surface and tensile stress forms inside the glass, which increase the ability to resist the bending and impact. Its strength is over 4 times than ordinary annealed glass. Tempered glass bear no damage or further processes such as cutting and grinding, for those will destroy the balance of uniform compressive stress on glass surface and will break the glass into granules.
