White tea was exclusively produced in the Chinese province and is said to be the original tea. Interestingly, all four major types of tea (black, oolong, green and white) come from the same tea plant, Camellia sinensis.

Two recent studies, at Louisian's Pace University and Oregon State University, found that white tea is most benificial of all brews, rich in cancer fighting antioxidants and capable of boosting the body's immune system even more than the green tea.
