Product Description
AZ31B, ZK60A, AZ61A, AZ80A, M1C Magnesium Alloy Billet/ Slab/ Rod/Bar
Direct chill cast billet is manufactured by YUXI as the starting material for other magnesium products, such as sheet, plate, forgings and extrusions. However, it has been frequently found that the cast billet is suitable for machining into prototypes, thus avoiding expensive tooling, and in some cases for production where the size of the finished items is outside economic casting or extrusion dimension or minimum economic production.
Cast billet is supplied to clients on the compositional and homogenized condition. The Chemical Composition is as per AZ31B, AZ61A, AZ80A and ZK60A. Inspection standards for billet will be by agreement. Ultrasonic Inspection as per AMS-STD-2154 Class A. Temporary corrosion preventative surface treatments can be applied by agreement.
CONTINUOUS CAST MACHINING MAGNESIUM ALLOY SLAB
YUXI supplies direct chill continuous cast machining slab for manufacturer of parts which are larger than possible by conventional production methods, the shape of slab is rectangular, with two opposing faced and edges (if required) machined, and then sawn to ordered size. The alloy for machining stock is AZ31B per the chemical composition requirements of ASTM B90/B90M-07.

Application
At present, the application on the spare parts on automobiles can be categorized in two types.
- a. Enclosure. Clutch. Valve deck. Instrument board. Gearbox casing. Crank case. Engine front cover. Cylinder cover. Air-conditioner shell.
- b. Stand. Steering wheel. Steering bracket. Brake bracket. Seat frame. Car mirror bracket. Distribution support.
Mobile phone, personal computer: support frame and the back shell
Electronic appliance (computer, projector, television set: Mg alloy has higher heat conductivity coefficient than plastic, which is beneficial for the heat dissipation.
Hard disk drive: reading device. Electric fan: fan blade( low noise) steeling wheel and seat: lighter, absorbing the impact from strike)
