System for Bag Splitting and Continuous Feeding
- Bag Splitter is to split open the bags of MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) and supply the MSW to the waste treatment system continuously.
- Wastes collected from the household are packed in the PP woven bags and plastic bags. At the waste treatment facilities, the workers open the bags with the knives.
- Bag splitter is a system to automatically split the bags without employing any manpower at the waste treatment facility.
- Retractable Splitting Knives are mounted on the rotor which is located at the discharging part of the bag splitter.
- The knives along with the ripping comb are split-opening the waste bags loaded into the bag splitter bunker by the wheel loader and/or crane.
- The bag splitter machine supplies the waste from the bags to the sorting line.
- The bag splitter is typically installed as the feeding machine at MRF (Material Recovery Facility) and MBT(Mechanical Biological Treatment).
- Feeding the waste after splitting the bags and in continuous volume are very important for the forthcoming screening machines to achieve the high efficiency and purity output materials in MRF.
- MBT facility also uses the bag splitter along with the crusher for supplying the waste to the system continuously, and RDF process also uses th bag splitter as a bale breaking system.
- If there is a blockage by oversize materials, the rotor and conveyor will stop and reverse to clear the blockage. After three unsuccessful attempts, the system will send the alarm signal for the manual help.
