Shale Inhibitor / Viscosifier / Flocculant
Product Description
CHP (powder form) is a readily dispersible polymer additive designed to provide cuttings encapsulation and shale stabilization in freshwater to saltwater drilling fluids ranging from low solids to weighted muds. CHP acts as a viscosifier, friction reducer, and flocculants, while also providing some fluid-loss control. CHP also delivers cuttings encapsulation and improves wellbore stability, making it ideal for slim hole and continuous-coring applications.

Recommended Treatment
Add CHP in concentration of 0.7 to 4.3 kg/m³ (0.2 to1.5 lb/bbl) to any active system. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Use of standard PPE is recommended for employee comfort and safety. See Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) prior to use.
Package and Storage
25kg bags or according to customer’s requirement. Avoid high-intensity extreme pressure and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Keep bag closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
