Product Description

CPL is a powder polymer, mainly used to reduce filtration of drilling fluid. CPL is uniquely stable, easily handled and useful in fluids based on fresh water and saline water environments.

Application/Function

CPL acts as a filtration control agent, while improving the filter cake and hole cleaning. It also improves and stabilizes rheology and provide cutting encapsulation and clay dispersion inhibition. CPL works well at any salinity and mixes well in low shear environments.

Recommended Treatment

Add CPL in concentrations of 0.6 to 1.8 kg/cm3 to drilling fluids. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.

Safe Handling Recommendations

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Use of standard PPE is recommended for employee comfort and safety. See Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) prior to use.

Package and Storage

25kg bags or according to customer’s requirement.

Avoid high-intensity extreme pressure and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
