COL5181B MPEG2/4 Encoder (8 in 1), the powerful and stable equipment is very popular in the digital broadcast word, because it can be used in so many solutions to reduce a lot of the cost of the total system. COL5181B is a high density, high performance video processing platform. It’s powerful multifunction and stable performance made it suitable for versatile circumstance and can be deployed on the VOD, real time CATV or satellite head end.
COL5181B integrates 8 channel encoder and TS multiplexer in a compact 1RU form, ideal for head end deployment or head end enlargement. Lower bit rates MPEG2/4 SD encoding, support up to 28 channel program multiplexing makes you cast more programs on the limited bandwidth. Human design, the friendly operating network software makes you control the equipment easily.

üLow bit rate, MPEG4 1.5Mbps, MPEG2 1.8Mbps for D1 resolution
üCan multiplex another Transport Stream (ASI input) with the local 8 channel Transport Stream, and ASI out. Several equipments can be cascaded and multiplexed to be one Transport Stream out.
üFlexible 1~15Mbps bit rate for each channel, output bit rate is 1~216Mbps optional
üSupport PAL and NTSC video system (PAL/NTSC)
