Product introduction
Congo red test paper is made from Congo red solution. Congo red dates red powder, can dissolve in water and alcohol, slightly soluble in acetone, almost insoluble in ethyl ether, acid was blue. Not only can it be used as a dye, but also as an indicator. Congo red is an acid indicator, the color change range is from 3.5 to 5.2, the base state is red, and the acid state is blue and purple. Some people think that Congo big red bayberries, is actually wrong. Congo red can be done as a pharmaceutical ingredient.
0.5g Congo red dissolved in 1L water, add 5 drops of acetic acid, filter paper in the warm solution after dipping out to dry. Organic acids such as formic acid, acetic acid and oxalic acid also make it blue.
