Product Description
High silicon cast iron tubular anodes can provide effective protection at a low and very uniform consumption rate. The anodes with chromium are made using the high silicon iron alloy to ASTM A518 Gr3 as specified below. To form these anodes, two casting methods are employed, one is centrifugal casting which gives the anodes a denser, more homogeneous surface, the other is chill casting which has much lower defective rate. It’s up to the clients to choose the most suitable casting method. The tubular design provides greater surface area over solid cast iron anodes of identical weight. This in turn lowers anode-to earth resistance, decreases the current density on the surface of the anode, and permits any generated gases to be distributed over a larger area.

Anode Cable Connection
The tubular design means connection can be made in the center of the anode, thus eliminating the problem of end-effect consumption. In tubular anodes, cable connections are made using a wedge connection of zinc connector lead connector in the center of the anode and encapsulated in epoxy resin as shown in the drawing.

We have our own lab with German imported spectrometer for testing HSCI anodes chemical composition. The mill test report against each batch of HSCI anodes is supplied with the shipment. Warranty Certificate for 12 months is also provided against each batch of your ordered HSCI anodes. Our after-sale team is at service 7days*24hrs for the feedbacks after you receive the anodes.
