The SSG550M security platform delivers 1 Gbps of firewall for large branch office, regional office, and enterprise deployments.
Overview
The SSG550M is a high-performance security platform that helps businesses stop internal and external attacks, prevent unauthorized access, and achieve regulatory compliance. It delivers 1+ Gbps of stateful firewall performance and 500 Mbps of IPsec VPN performance.
SSG550M provides protection against worms, viruses, trojans, spam, and emerging malware delivered by proven Unified Threat Management (UTM) security features backed by best-in-class partners. Network protection features include security zones, virtual routers, and VLANs that allow administrators to divide the network into distinct secure domains, each with its own unique security policy.
SSG Series Secure Services Gateways are easily managed through graphical Web UI, CLI, or Juniper Networks Network and Security Manager (NSM) central management system.
