1. What's the LPI of lenticular sheet?
LPI means the number of lines in an inch wide in a lenticular sheet. Generally speaking, high lpi is required for jobs that require high degree of fineness and low lpi is required for large format printing, such as poster. We will suggest the suitable lpi according to the lenticular effect you expected.
2. What kind of effect we can do?
3D depth effect,flip,animation,zoom,morph,explode,multiple deep 3D effect with flip, etc.(contact us for more information).
3. What's the best material for 3D effect?
The best material is PET, then PP. Light transmittance of PET is better than PP's. Normally speaking, the thicker the material and the higher the LPI, the better effect we will get.
4. What kind of printing we are using?
Printing method 1: offset printing —— print directly onto the lenticular sheet.
Printing method 2: offset printing —— print onto the paper and then stick with lenticular sheet.
So charge of sample proofing is different, printing method 2 is cheaper than printing method 1, but effect of printing method 1 is better than printing method 2.
5. What do you mean by orientation of change?
Unlike 3 dimensional, the flip, animation, motion and morphing effects could be shown up only if the cards are viewed in the correct direction – we called it "orientation of change". "Orientation of change" could be "up-to-down" or "left-to right" depending on how the lenticular sheet is positioned by the lenticular maker. In general,"up-to-down" changing is preferred to "left-to-right" changing for flip, animation, motion and morphing. As the image will be more clear and the ghosting will be less.
